Bujagali 2 Hour Guided Tour

Our sit-on-top kayak tours start from Explorers River Camp. Your guide will start by taking you upstream and will introduce you to the various bird and wildlife that live along the riverbank. This is a very relaxed way to experience the Nile and the trip will go at a pace that suits you. Your guide will happily answers any questions you may have regarding the lake and the local area. At the half way point, you’ll refuel with some cold sodas, beers or gin and tonic before heading back downstream, taking in the views, or sunset, as you go.

Source of the Nile Tour

The source of the Nile is on many people’s bucket list and understandably so, it is the official start of one of the world’s longest, and possibly most famous, river. A knowledgeable and entertaining guide, a cooler of chilled drinks and a stable sit on top kayak come together to create a very peaceful and enjoyable way of seeing this globally known site.

The tour starts on the shores of Lake Victoria, and gives you the chance to paddle out into the lake, to get a feel for the shear size of the second largest lake in the world, and to get a lake side view of the source. Gin and tonics, cold beer or soda in hand you can slowly feel the pull of the nile drift you through the source, and into the Nile River. Along the way you can view the site where Ghandi’s ashes were sprinkled, and a monument to the original western explorer to find the source John Hanning Speke. The tour ends at a riverside bar on the Nile River and transport back to the Nile River Explorers Campsite, or drop off in Jinja depending on your preference.

Sit-on-top Rentals
